PROTECTED BY LAW BUILT ON TRUST, Your data belongs to you. We keep it that way.
Privacy & Security

Parsafy was built for people who cannot afford to be exposed — activists, journalists, diaspora communities, and anyone who believes that what they say should not be used against them. This page explains exactly how we protect you, what we collect, what we refuse to do, and what we are legally required to do. No empty promises. Just the truth.

Privacy

Your Data Belongs to You. Always.

Parsafy collects the minimum data necessary to operate the platform. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent. What you share on Parsafy stays on Parsafy — and when you leave, you take it with you.

📦

What We Collect

Email address, username, content you post, and basic usage data needed to operate the platform. Nothing more. We do not require your phone number, real name, or government ID to create an account.

🚫

What We Never Do

We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We never use it for political profiling. We never hand it to governments without valid legal process — and even then, we challenge requests we believe are unlawful.

📤

Your Right to Leave

You can export all your data — posts, followers, media — at any time. You can request permanent deletion of your account and personal data. We will honor deletion requests subject to our legal retention obligations — some data may be retained for the period required by applicable law, after which it is permanently deleted. We never retain data longer than legally required.

Security

We Take Security Seriously.

Security at Parsafy is not a checkbox. It is a core requirement — because our users include people for whom a security failure could have real-world consequences beyond losing a social media account.

  • End-to-end encryption for private messages
  • Encrypted data storage — your data is never stored in plain text
  • Two-factor authentication available for all accounts
  • Login alerts for unrecognized devices or locations
  • Regular independent security audits
  • Automatic session expiry and device management
  • Password protection with industry-standard hashing
  • No plaintext password storage — ever
  • VPN use is explicitly permitted and will never trigger account suspension
  • Tor browser access supported
  • No geographic IP blocking
  • No behavioral profiling for advertising purposes
  • DDoS protection and infrastructure redundancy
  • Incident response plan with user notification within 72 hours of any breach
  • Cloudflare protection on all endpoints
  • Penetration testing conducted regularly

Security Incident Reporting

If you discover a security vulnerability on Parsafy, please report it to [email protected]. We take all reports seriously, investigate promptly, and will not take legal action against good-faith security researchers.

Bots & Fake Accounts

We Fight Bots Without Punishing Real People.

Many platforms fight bots by requiring phone numbers — which excludes millions of legitimate users in countries where phone verification is either unavailable or dangerous. Parsafy takes a different approach: behavioral detection that targets bots without penalizing humans.

🤖

Bot Detection

We use advanced behavioral analysis and machine learning to detect bot-like posting patterns, unnatural engagement rates, and coordinated inauthentic activity — without requiring personal data from legitimate users.

🔒

Account Protection

Email verification on signup. CAPTCHA on suspicious activity. Rate limiting for new accounts that gradually lifts as accounts establish legitimate engagement history. Honeypot fields invisible to humans but caught by bots.

🏛️

Community Moderation

Users can report suspicious accounts. Elected community councils review reports. Decisions are made by the community — not corporate employees — with a transparent appeals process.

Optional Identity Verification

Users who wish to verify their real identity can do so through ComplyCube — our identity verification partner — for a one-time fee. ComplyCube supports a wide range of international IDs. Verification is entirely optional. Unverified users have full access to every feature on the platform. The verification checkmark means "this person is who they claim to be" — nothing more, nothing less.

"Anonymous accounts are permitted on Parsafy. You do not need to use your real name. You do not need to provide a phone number. You do not need to show your face. Your right to speak anonymously is protected — because sometimes anonymity is not a choice. It is a necessity."

Law Enforcement

Honest About Legal Obligations.

We will never make promises we cannot keep. Parsafy is a Delaware-incorporated US company and is subject to US law. When law enforcement presents a valid legal request — a court order, subpoena, or other lawful process — we are legally required to respond. Here is exactly how we handle those situations.

1

We Only Respond to Valid Legal Process

Requests must meet the legal threshold under US law. We do not respond to informal requests, requests from foreign governments without proper legal channels, or requests we believe are politically motivated or legally deficient.

2

We Challenge Overbroad Requests

If a request is broader than legally required, we challenge it. We narrow the scope to only what is legally compelled. We do not volunteer information beyond what is specifically required by the legal order.

3

We Notify Users When Permitted

Unless prohibited by law — such as in cases involving a gag order — we notify affected users that their data has been requested before we respond, giving them the opportunity to seek legal counsel.

4

We Publish a Transparency Report

Parsafy publishes an annual transparency report showing the total number of law enforcement requests received, the number we complied with, the number we challenged, and the number we rejected. You can always see how often this happens.

5

We Collect Minimum Data

Because we collect only the minimum data necessary to operate, there is less to hand over if legally compelled. We cannot give what we do not have.

Law Enforcement Portal

Law enforcement agencies seeking user data must submit requests through our official Law Enforcement Portal. Requests submitted outside this portal will not be processed. All requests are reviewed by our legal team before any data is disclosed. Submit requests at: [email protected]

Users in Iran & Restricted Regions

Built for People Who Need It Most.

Parsafy was designed with users in Iran and other restricted regions in mind. We understand that for many of our users, privacy is not a preference — it is a matter of personal safety. Here is what you need to know.

  • VPN use is explicitly permitted — we will never suspend an account for using a VPN
  • No phone number required to create an account
  • Anonymous accounts are fully supported
  • No geographic IP blocking — access from any country
  • Parsafy is a US company — the Iranian government has no legal jurisdiction to compel us to provide user data
  • We will never voluntarily cooperate with requests from the Islamic Republic of Iran or any authoritarian government
  • Tor browser access is supported

A Note on Identity Verification

Our verification partner ComplyCube supports many Iranian ID documents including national ID cards and passports. However, we fully understand that users in Iran may not wish to provide identity documents to any online platform for their own safety. Identity verification is and will always remain completely optional. You will never be required to verify your identity to use Parsafy.

Your Privacy is Not Negotiable.

We built Parsafy for people who needed a platform that would stand behind them — not hand them over. These commitments are not marketing language. They are operational policy, built into how we collect data, how we respond to legal requests, and how we design every feature on this platform.
