Accessibility Statement
Parsafy AI Inc.'s commitment to an inclusive and accessible platform for all users
Parsafy AI Inc. is committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to all users — including people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and speech disabilities. We believe that digital accessibility is not optional; it is a fundamental aspect of building a platform that genuinely serves everyone.
Accessibility is built into Parsafy's design philosophy from the ground up, not retrofitted after the fact. We are actively working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across all Parsafy products and surfaces — including our web application, mobile applications, and AI-powered features.
This statement describes our current accessibility commitments, the steps we are taking to improve accessibility, our roadmap for AI-powered accessibility features, and how to contact us if you encounter barriers or need assistance.
📐 Accessibility Standards We Are Working Toward
Parsafy's accessibility work is guided by the following internationally recognized standards and guidelines:
Perceivable
Information and UI components must be presentable in ways users can perceive — including text alternatives for non-text content and captions for media.
Operable
UI components and navigation must be operable by all users — including full keyboard accessibility and sufficient time for interactions.
Understandable
Information and UI operation must be understandable — including readable text, predictable behavior, and input assistance.
Robust
Content must be robust enough to be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including current and future assistive technologies.
These four principles form the foundation of WCAG 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Our target conformance level is Level AA, which represents a meaningful and practical level of accessibility for the vast majority of users with disabilities. We are also monitoring developments in WCAG 2.2 and will incorporate its additional success criteria as our platform matures.
🛠️ Measures We Are Taking
Parsafy AI Inc. takes the following concrete measures to support accessibility across our platform:
Accessible Design From the Start
Accessibility requirements are incorporated into our design and development process from the earliest stages — not added as an afterthought. Our UI component library is being built with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements as baseline requirements, not optional enhancements.
Keyboard & Screen Reader Accessibility
All Parsafy features and interactive elements are designed to be fully navigable by keyboard without requiring a mouse. We test our interfaces with leading screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), and TalkBack (Android).
Colour Contrast & Visual Accessibility
Our color palette is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). We do not rely on color alone to convey information — all color-coded elements include additional visual or textual indicators.
Alternative Text for Images
All non-decorative images on Parsafy's informational pages and within the platform include meaningful alternative text descriptions. Our AI-powered image content is designed to generate accessible descriptions automatically — see the AI-Powered Accessibility section below.
Video & Audio Accessibility
Parsafy is committed to providing captions for video content on our informational pages and within the platform. Our ViraFrame AI video tool is being developed with automatic caption generation as a core feature — not a premium add-on.
Mobile Accessibility
Parsafy's mobile applications are developed with platform-native accessibility APIs — including iOS Accessibility and Android Accessibility — to ensure compatibility with device-level assistive technologies.
Clear Language & Readability
Our platform content, notifications, and error messages are written in plain language, avoiding jargon where possible. Legal and policy documents (including this one) aim for clarity and readability alongside legal completeness.
User Customization
Parsafy supports user-level text scaling and respects operating system accessibility settings including reduced motion, high contrast mode, and font size preferences. Our platform does not override user-configured accessibility preferences.
🤖 AI-Powered Accessibility System — Coming Soon
Parsafy is developing a fully automated, AI-powered accessibility system that will go significantly beyond standard WCAG compliance to provide a genuinely enhanced experience for users with disabilities. This system is being built by our engineering team as a core platform feature — not a third-party overlay or plugin.
The planned AI accessibility system will include:
- Automatic image description generation: AI-generated alt text for all user-uploaded images and AI-created content across ViraFrame and other Parsafy tools — enabling screen reader users to experience visual content without relying on the original creator to add descriptions manually.
- Automatic caption generation for video: Real-time and post-production captions for all video content uploaded to or created within Parsafy, using our AI audio processing pipeline.
- Content readability assistance: AI-powered reading level adjustment and plain-language summaries for complex or lengthy content, helping users with cognitive disabilities access content more easily.
- Voice navigation integration: Enhanced compatibility with Guilda, our AI voice agent, enabling users with motor disabilities to navigate and interact with the Parsafy platform entirely by voice.
- Automated accessibility auditing: Continuous, automated scanning of all platform surfaces for WCAG conformance issues — identifying and flagging accessibility regressions before they reach users.
- Adaptive interface: AI-driven interface adaptation that adjusts contrast, text size, motion, and layout based on individual user preferences and detected assistive technology use.
We will update this Accessibility Statement when these features are live, including specific information about their scope, limitations, and conformance level. Users who want to be notified when these features launch can contact us at [email protected].
⚠️ Known Limitations
Parsafy is a pre-launch platform and our full WCAG conformance audit has not yet been completed. We are transparent about the current state of our accessibility work:
- No formal conformance audit completed: A full third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit will be conducted following platform launch. Until that audit is complete, we cannot represent that Parsafy fully conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA — only that we are actively building toward that standard.
- User-generated content: Parsafy hosts user-generated content including images, videos, and text. We cannot guarantee that all user-generated content meets accessibility standards — for example, images uploaded by users may not include alt text unless our AI description system (in development) supplies it automatically.
- AI-generated content: Content generated by our AI tools (ViraFrame, Guilda) is designed with accessibility in mind, but automated accessibility features for AI output are still in development.
- Third-party integrations: Certain third-party services integrated into Parsafy (payment processing, identity verification, analytics) are subject to their own accessibility standards and are not under Parsafy's direct control. See Third-Party Content section below.
🔗 Third-Party Content & Services
Parsafy integrates with a number of third-party services whose accessibility is governed by those third parties' own accessibility policies. Where we have influence over the integration design, we work to ensure accessible implementation. Where we do not control the third-party interface directly, we cannot guarantee WCAG conformance.
Third-party services integrated into Parsafy that may have their own accessibility limitations include:
- ComplyCube — identity verification service used during account creation.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — CDN and security infrastructure.
- Google Analytics — analytics (does not affect user-facing interface).
- AI provider interfaces — where output from third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, Runway, Stability AI, OpenAI) is surfaced through Parsafy's UI, we design the presentation layer to be accessible.
If you encounter accessibility barriers in a third-party service accessed through Parsafy, please let us know at [email protected] — we will work with the relevant provider to address the issue where possible, and explore alternative solutions where it is not.
⚖️ Legal & Regulatory Basis
Parsafy's accessibility commitments are informed by the following legal and regulatory frameworks:
United States
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III: Courts have broadly interpreted the ADA to apply to websites and apps serving the public. Parsafy is committed to ADA compliance in the design and operation of our platform.
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act: While Section 508 applies directly to federal agencies, Parsafy adopts its technical standards as a baseline for accessible design.
- California Unruh Civil Rights Act: As a California-based company, Parsafy is subject to California's broad non-discrimination requirements, which California courts have applied to digital services.
European Union
- European Accessibility Act (EAA): Effective June 28, 2025, the EAA requires digital services operating in the EU to meet EN 301 549 accessibility standards, which incorporate WCAG 2.1 AA. Parsafy is working toward full EAA compliance.
- Web Accessibility Directive (WAD): While the WAD applies directly to public sector bodies, its technical standards (EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 AA) inform our accessibility targets.
United Kingdom
- Equality Act 2010: Requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. Parsafy is committed to making reasonable adjustments to ensure our platform is accessible to UK users with disabilities.
- Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018: While these apply to public sector bodies, their WCAG 2.1 AA standard informs our accessibility targets for UK users.
