How to Adjust Your Privacy Settings on Parsafy
Your privacy on Parsafy is important to us, and we provide you with the flexibility to customize it to your preferences. By default, only connections you have approved on Parsafy can contact you directly or view your content. Here’s how you can change your privacy settings:
- Tap the ⚙️ icon on your Profile screen to open Settings.
- Scroll down to the Privacy Controls section and tap the option you want to adjust.
- Make your selection and tap the back button to save your choice.
On Web:
- Click your profile icon and go to Settings.
- Navigate to Privacy Controls.
- Adjust your preferences and click Save.

Who Can Contact Me
Choose who can reach out to you directly with posts, tags, messages, calls, and other interactions on Parsafy.
Send Me Notifications
Decide whether you want to receive notifications from everyone or only from your approved connections. Learn more about notification settings for [iOS] and [Android].
Who Can View My Content
Control who can view your posts and shared content on Parsafy. You can tap or click Custom to block specific connections from accessing your content.
Who Can See My Location
Select who can view your location on Parsafy. Your location remains private until you choose to share it.
Who Can See Me In Suggestions
Choose who can see you in Parsafy’s connection suggestions feature, which helps users discover and connect with others on the platform.
Activity Indicator
Decide whether other Parsafy users can see if you have been recently active on the platform.
A Few Important Notes
- If you select My Connections, members of any Group you are part of will still be able to communicate with you within that Group.
- Choosing My Connections means you will not see posts sent by users you have not connected with. You will only receive a notification that they have requested to connect with you. If you connect with them, you will then gain access to their content.
- If you choose Everyone for Who Can Contact Me, users you have not connected with can still send you messages and posts.
- If you change your content visibility settings from public to My Connections or another privacy option, please note that content you posted before making the change may still be visible to some users.
Tip: If you want to receive posts from Everyone but only want notifications when your Connections interact with you, you can adjust your notification settings separately under Settings → Notifications on iOS, Android, or Web.
