Parsafy Reporting Guide
How to report content, accounts, and behavior that violates our Community Guidelines
Parsafy AI is a collaborative community. Our Trust & Safety team works around the clock to enforce our Community Guidelines — but our platform is large, content moves fast, and our community is our most important partner in keeping Parsafy safe.
Every report you submit goes directly to our Trust & Safety team for review. Your reports help us identify violations our automated systems may miss, surface emerging patterns of harmful behavior, and protect users who may not know how to report what they are experiencing.
Reporting is not censorship. Parsafy is a free-speech platform — we protect a wide range of expression, including content that is controversial, offensive, or uncomfortable. Reports are reviewed against our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, and content that does not violate these policies will not be removed. You can disagree with something without it being a violation.
If Someone Is in Immediate Danger — Contact Emergency Services First
If you believe someone's life is at risk — including signs of suicidal intent, credible threats of violence, or child exploitation in progress — please contact your local emergency services (911 in the US) immediately. Then report to Parsafy. Emergency services can respond faster than any platform. Parsafy cooperates with law enforcement in all such cases.

📋 How to Make a Report
Parsafy provides reporting tools directly within the app so you can flag content quickly without leaving the platform. Here's how:
Reporting a Post, Story, or Video
Find the content
Navigate to the post, story, or video you want to report in your feed, on a profile, or in search results.Tap the ⋮ (three-dot) menu
Tap or click the ⋮ (ellipsis) icon in the corner of the content. On some content types, this may appear as a flag icon or a "Report" option directly.Select "Report"
Choose the "Report" or flag option from the menu that appears.Choose a reason
Select the category that best describes the violation. If multiple categories apply, choose the most serious one.Add details (optional but helpful)
If you have additional context — particularly for nuanced reports involving impersonation, threats, or coordinated behavior — adding a brief description helps our team review more accurately.Submit
Submit your report. You will receive a confirmation that it has been received. Our Trust & Safety team will review it.Reporting an Account
To report an account rather than a specific piece of content, navigate to the user's profile, tap the ⋮ menu on their profile page, and select "Report Account." You will be prompted to select the reason for the report.
Reporting a Direct Message
To report a message sent to you directly, open the message thread, tap and hold the specific message you want to report, and select "Report" from the options that appear.
Reporting Child Exploitation (CSAM)
If you encounter any content that sexually exploits or abuses a child, report it immediately using the in-app report button and select "Child Sexual Abuse Material" or "Child Exploitation" as the reason. Parsafy treats these reports as the highest priority and reports all confirmed cases to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement. You may also report directly to NCMEC at cybertipline.org or by calling 1-800-843-5678.
🔒 Confidentiality of Your Report
All reports submitted to Parsafy are kept strictly confidential. Parsafy will never disclose the identity of the person who made a report to the subject of that report. The person whose content you report will not be told who reported them.
This confidentiality is absolute. Even if Parsafy takes enforcement action against an account following your report, that user will not be told your identity.
If you encounter anything illegal or dangerous, or if someone's safety is at immediate risk, please contact your local law enforcement agency in addition to reporting to Parsafy. Do not rely solely on a platform report in an emergency.
⚙️ What Happens After You Report
Every report submitted to Parsafy is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. Here is what happens:
Receipt
You receive an in-app confirmation that your report has been received. Reports are queued for review in the order received, with higher-severity reports (imminent danger, CSAM, terrorism) prioritized.Review
Our Trust & Safety team reviews the reported content against our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Context, framing, and intent are all considered. For nuanced cases, multiple reviewers may assess the content.Decision
If the content is found to violate our policies, appropriate action is taken — which may include removing the content, restricting the account, or permanently terminating the account. If the content is found not to violate our policies, no action is taken.Law Enforcement Referral (Where Applicable)
In cases involving serious criminal activity — including CSAM, credible threats of violence, or terrorism — Parsafy may refer the matter to law enforcement without prior notice to the reported user.Notification
You will receive an update when a decision has been made on your report. Reported users, if action is taken, will be notified of the enforcement action but not of who reported them.📊 Report Outcomes & Transparency
While we review every report thoroughly, we do not provide reporters with detailed, case-specific outcomes for each report. We do, however, notify you when a decision has been made.
In the interest of broader transparency, Parsafy publishes aggregate statistics on reported content — including the volume of reports received by category, enforcement actions taken, and appeals outcomes — in our periodic Transparency Report. This allows our community to understand how our Trust & Safety team operates at scale without compromising the confidentiality of individual cases.
🤝 Good-Faith Reporting
Parsafy's reporting tools are provided to help our community identify genuine violations of our guidelines — not as a tool to silence, harass, or target other users whose views you disagree with.
Submitting reports in good faith — even if your assessment turns out to be incorrect — will never result in action against your account. We understand that determining what is and is not a violation can be genuinely difficult, and we review all reports charitably.
🛡️ Additional Safety Tools
Reporting is one of several tools available to help you manage your experience on Parsafy. In addition to reporting, we encourage you to use the following features:
🚫 Block a User
Blocking a user prevents them from viewing your content, messaging you, or finding your account in search. Use blocking whenever someone makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable — you do not need to report first. Blocking and reporting are independent actions.
🔇 Mute a User
Muting a user removes their content from your feed without notifying them. Muting is useful when you want to stop seeing someone's content without the stronger action of blocking.
🔒 Privacy Settings
Your privacy settings control who can see your content, message you, and follow your account. We recommend reviewing your privacy settings to ensure your account is configured as you intend. Strong privacy settings are your first line of defense against unwanted contact.
🔗 Connection Controls
Parsafy's default connection settings require mutual acceptance before users can message each other directly. You can adjust who can follow you, message you, and comment on your content through your account settings.
📸 Screenshot Notification
Parsafy notifies you when screenshots are taken of your private posts, messages, or profile — helping you stay aware of how your content is being captured.
🗂️ Content Filtering
Use content filtering settings to limit the types of content you see in your feed and to manage which topics and content categories are surfaced to you by Parsafy's recommendation systems.

🇪🇺 EU Users — Digital Services Act (DSA) Reporting
If you are located in the European Union, you have specific rights under the Digital Services Act (DSA) — specifically Article 16 — regarding the reporting of illegal content on online platforms. Parsafy complies with the DSA and provides the following reporting mechanisms for EU users.
What Is Article 16?
Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act requires online platforms to provide accessible mechanisms for users to report content they believe is illegal under EU law or the law of any EU member state. This is a legal right for EU users — separate from and in addition to Parsafy's standard Community Guidelines reporting process.
What Can You Report Under Article 16?
You may use this channel to report content you believe is illegal under EU or member state law, including but not limited to:
- Illegal hate speech under national law (e.g., incitement to hatred based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation).
- Terrorist content or content promoting violent extremism.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Illegal products or services being promoted or sold on the platform.
- Content that violates EU data protection law (GDPR).
- Any other content that violates applicable EU or member state law.
How to Submit a DSA Article 16 Report
Primary method — in-app reporting: We strongly recommend using Parsafy's in-app reporting tool for the most efficient handling of your report. Tap the ⋮ (three-dot) menu on any content and select "Report." In-app reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team and are the fastest path to action.
Alternative DSA channel: EU users who wish to report illegal content specifically under Article 16 of the DSA — or who are unable to use the in-app tool — may submit their report to:
Email: [email protected] · Subject: DSA Article 16 Report
Please include: (1) the specific URL or location of the content you are reporting; (2) a description of why you believe the content is illegal and which law you believe it violates; (3) your contact information; and (4) a statement that you believe in good faith the information in your report is accurate.
What Happens After a DSA Report
Parsafy will acknowledge receipt of your Article 16 report and review it in a timely, diligent, and non-arbitrary manner as required by the DSA. We will inform you of the outcome and any available avenues for redress. Complaints should be submitted within 6 months of the relevant content or decision.
Out-of-Court Dispute Settlement & Digital Services Coordinator
If you are dissatisfied with Parsafy's decision on your DSA report, you have the right to seek redress through an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Article 21 of the DSA in your EU member state. You may also lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator (DSC) in your country of residence.
❓ Can't Report In-App?
If you are unable to submit a report through Parsafy's in-app reporting tools — because of a technical issue, because the content has been deleted before you could report it, or because your concern falls outside the in-app report categories — contact our Trust & Safety team directly by email:
Copyright / IP Reports: [email protected]
EU DSA Article 16 Reports: [email protected] · Subject: DSA Article 16 Report
Child Exploitation (CSAM): Also report directly to NCMEC at cybertipline.org or call 1-800-843-5678
When reporting by email, please include as much detail as possible — the specific content or account, the reason for your report, and any relevant screenshots or URLs. This helps our team act quickly and accurately.
Thank you for helping keep Parsafy safe. Every report matters.
