Protecting Our Children
Parsafy's commitment to combating child sexual exploitation and abuse
🚨 Zero Tolerance — No Exceptions, No Appeals
Child sexual exploitation and abuse is the most serious category of harm on Parsafy. We have absolute zero tolerance for any content that sexually exploits or abuses children — real or AI-generated, photographic or illustrated, shared publicly or privately. A single confirmed violation results in immediate permanent account termination and mandatory reporting to law enforcement.
If you have encountered child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Parsafy, report it immediately using the in-app report button or our Reporting Guide. You may also report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline at cybertipline.org or by calling 1-800-843-5678.
Although Parsafy is an 18+ platform requiring identity verification, we recognize that child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) is a crime that occurs across the entire internet — including on platforms with age restrictions. The existence of a minimum age requirement does not eliminate the need for vigilance, proactive detection, and robust child protection measures. Children and their exploiters do not respect platform rules.
Parsafy is unequivocally committed to the prevention, detection, and eradication of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and all related exploitation content from our platform. This commitment is guided by our Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, the laws of the United States and applicable international law, and the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
This page explains what we prohibit, how we detect and respond to violations, who we partner with, and how you can help.
🚫 What Is Absolutely Prohibited
The following conduct is prohibited on Parsafy with zero tolerance. There are no exceptions based on intent, claimed artistic merit, fictional framing, or AI-generated nature of the content:
-
✗
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction — photographic, video, illustrated, animated, or AI-generated — of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the content appears realistic or stylized, and regardless of the format or medium.
-
✗
AI-Generated CSAM: Content created using Parsafy's AI tools (ViraFrame, Guilda) or any other AI platform that depicts minors in sexual contexts is treated identically to photographic CSAM. There is no legal or policy distinction between real and AI-generated child sexual abuse material.
-
✗
Grooming: Any communication or conduct designed to build trust with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse — including establishing emotional connection, gradually normalizing sexual topics, requesting photos, or seeking to arrange in-person meetings.
-
✗
Sexual Extortion (Sextortion) of Minors: Threatening to share intimate images of a minor — or threatening to harm them — to obtain sexual content, money, or other compliance from the minor or their family.
-
✗
Online Enticement: Attempting to lure a minor into sexual activity, whether online or in person, through Parsafy's messaging or other communication features.
-
✗
Solicitation of Minor-Produced Content: Requesting, encouraging, or pressuring a minor to produce, send, or share nude or sexually explicit images or videos of themselves — regardless of whether the minor consents or initiates.
-
✗
Content Glorifying Child Exploitation: Any content that normalizes, glorifies, or promotes the sexual exploitation or abuse of children — including content that frames such abuse as acceptable, consensual, or beneficial.
-
✗
Sharing or Distributing CSAM: Forwarding, linking to, describing, or otherwise facilitating access to CSAM — including directing others to external websites or channels where such content is available.
🔍 How We Detect & Remove CSAM
Parsafy employs a multi-layered approach to detecting and removing child sexual abuse material from our platform, combining advanced technology with human review and community reporting.
PhotoDNA Hash-Matching
Parsafy uses Microsoft's PhotoDNA technology to automatically detect known CSAM by comparing uploaded images against a database of hash values of previously identified illegal content. This allows us to identify known illegal images even when they have been modified or re-saved.
Google CSAI Match
We use Google's Child Sexual Abuse Imagery (CSAI) Match tool to detect known child sexual abuse videos within our platform, enabling rapid identification and removal of previously identified illegal video content.
AI-Powered Detection
We deploy AI classifiers trained to identify potentially new or previously unseen CSAM and grooming behavior. Content flagged by these systems is escalated for priority human review.
Human Review
Our Trust & Safety team includes trained specialists who review flagged content and reports. Human judgment remains essential to accurate, context-sensitive enforcement in this area.
Community Reporting
Parsafy users can report suspected CSAM or child exploitation directly through the in-app report button or our Reporting Guide. Child safety reports are our highest priority and are reviewed immediately.
Proactive Monitoring
High-reach and AI-powered features on Parsafy are subject to proactive monitoring. We do not wait for reports — we actively scan for indicators of child exploitation activity.
⚖️ Our Legal Obligations & How We Respond
Mandatory NCMEC Reporting
Under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, Parsafy is legally required to report apparent violations involving child sexual exploitation material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline. This reporting is mandatory and happens without notice to the user whose content triggered the report.
NCMEC serves as the central clearinghouse for reports of child sexual exploitation in the United States and works directly with domestic and international law enforcement agencies to investigate and act on these reports.
What Happens When CSAM Is Detected
Immediate Content Removal
The content is removed from Parsafy immediately upon confirmed detection — before any investigation is complete and without waiting for any formal process.Account Termination
The account associated with the content is immediately and permanently terminated. There is no appeal process for CSAM-related account termination.NCMEC CyberTipline Report
Parsafy files a mandatory report with the NCMEC CyberTipline, including all available identifying information about the account and the content. This report is filed without notice to the user.Law Enforcement Cooperation
Parsafy cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations arising from NCMEC referrals or direct law enforcement contact. We respond to all valid legal process related to child exploitation matters as a priority.Hash-List Submission
Where appropriate, Parsafy submits hash values of newly identified CSAM to NCMEC's hash-sharing database to help other platforms detect and remove the same content — preventing its further spread across the internet.⚠️ Recognizing Grooming & Exploitation
Grooming — the process by which an adult builds trust with a child (and often their family) to gain access for the purpose of sexual exploitation — is often gradual and difficult to recognize. Because Parsafy's users include adults who may have children in their lives, we want to help our community recognize warning signs.
Common Grooming Indicators
- An adult online contact who is unusually interested in maintaining secrecy about the relationship with a child.
- Communications that gradually escalate from friendly conversation to sexual topics.
- Requests for photos or videos of a minor — initially non-sexual, becoming increasingly inappropriate.
- An adult offering gifts, money, or special attention to a child online.
- Attempts to isolate a child from parents, guardians, or peers.
- Expressions of romantic or sexual interest in a person who is or may be a minor.
- Attempting to move communication from public channels to private messaging.
Resources for Parents, Guardians & Educators
Although Parsafy is an 18+ platform, we recognize that many of our users are parents, guardians, and educators who want to understand online safety for the children in their lives:
- NCMEC NetSmartz: missingkids.org/netsmartz — Age-appropriate internet safety resources and educational programs.
- Internet Watch Foundation: iwf.org.uk — UK-based hotline for reporting online CSAM and resources for parents.
- Thorn: thorn.org — Technology and advocacy focused on defending children from sexual exploitation.
- Stop It Now!: stopitnow.org — Resources for those concerned about sexual behavior toward children, including a confidential helpline.
