Illegal or Regulated Activities Guidelines
Community Guidelines Explainer Series
Parsafy AI is a free-speech platform — we welcome discussion, reporting, advocacy, and debate about illegal activities, drug policy, weapons regulation, and related topics. What we prohibit is the use of Parsafy to actually facilitate, coordinate, or promote criminal activity.
The distinction is important: a journalist covering the drug trade, an activist advocating for drug legalization, a harm-reduction organization sharing safety information, and a documentary filmmaker covering human trafficking are all doing protected work on Parsafy. A user trying to sell fentanyl, recruit trafficking victims, or coordinate a cyberattack is not.
Our strong stance against illegal activity reflects our commitment to public safety and user protection. We work closely with safety stakeholders, NGOs, and law enforcement organizations and cooperate fully with valid legal process regarding criminal activity on our platform.
These guidelines should be read alongside our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and Prohibited & Restricted Content policy.
🚨 Zero Tolerance — Single Violation Results in Permanent Ban
The following categories carry zero tolerance on Parsafy. A single confirmed violation results in immediate permanent account termination, and Parsafy will cooperate with law enforcement in all such cases:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any sexual content involving minors, real or AI-generated.
- Human trafficking — recruitment, facilitation, or promotion of the trafficking of human beings.
- Sex trafficking — soliciting, facilitating, or promoting the commercial sexual exploitation of others.
- Terrorism and violent extremism — recruitment, fundraising, or promotion on behalf of designated terrorist organizations.
- Weapons of mass destruction — providing instructions for or facilitating the creation of biological, chemical, nuclear, or radiological weapons.
These activities represent threats to human life and dignity so severe that no context, intent, or mitigating factor applies. They are reported to law enforcement without notice to the user.

✅ What Is Permitted — Discussion vs. Facilitation
Parsafy's free-speech commitment means that discussing, reporting on, advocating about, and creating content related to illegal activities is generally permitted. The key distinction is between discussing illegal activity and facilitating it.
- Journalism & documentary: Reporting on crime, drug markets, trafficking, cybercrime, weapons, and related topics — including content that includes detailed information about how these activities work — is protected.
- Advocacy & policy debate: Arguing for the legalization, decriminalization, or regulation of any currently illegal activity is protected political expression.
- Harm reduction: Providing safety information to people engaged in risky legal or illegal activities to reduce the risk of death, injury, or disease.
- Survivor testimony: Personal accounts of involvement in illegal activities — as victim, participant, or bystander — shared for advocacy, healing, or awareness.
- Academic & research content: Scholarly content about crime, illegal markets, and related topics.
- Satire & creative fiction: Fictional portrayals of criminal activity in creative works — films, books, games, scripts, and other creative formats.
- Historical documentation: Content documenting historical illegal activities, including state crimes, atrocities, and political violence.
👮 Law Enforcement Cooperation
Parsafy cooperates fully with valid legal process from law enforcement agencies concerning activities on our platform that may provide evidence of crime. This cooperation includes responding to lawful subpoenas, court orders, and emergency disclosure requests.
For activities that pose an imminent threat to human life — including credible threats of violence, trafficking situations, or other emergencies — Parsafy may proactively contact law enforcement without waiting for a formal legal request.
Parsafy also maintains active partnerships with nonprofit organizations, safety NGOs, and law enforcement bodies to provide users with educational resources and to advance public safety within our community.
⚙️ Enforcement
Parsafy enforces these guidelines through automated detection, community reporting, and human review. Our Trust & Safety teams can act quickly on reports of illegal activity.
Enforcement Actions
- Content removal: Content facilitating illegal activity is removed promptly upon discovery.
- Warning: In many cases, users who share violating content receive a warning notice on first violation.
- Account restriction: Users who repeatedly violate these policies have their account access restricted.
- Permanent termination: Zero-tolerance violations — including drug dealing, human trafficking, CSAM, terrorism, and weapons of mass destruction — result in immediate permanent account termination on the first confirmed violation.
- Law enforcement referral: Where illegal activity is confirmed or credibly suspected, Parsafy cooperates with law enforcement without prior notice to the user.
On Parsafy's high-reach surfaces — including the Discovery Feed and Parsafy TV — we proactively moderate for content that may facilitate illegal activity. User reports are essential to this effort and greatly appreciated.
