Safety Policies
Parsafy is built on a foundational belief that safety and free expression are not opposites — they are complementary. This page is the hub for everything we do to protect our community.

Safety and Free Speech Are Not Opposites
Parsafy AI is a free-speech platform. We believe in the right of adults to speak freely — including on topics that are political, controversial, uncomfortable, or critical of powerful institutions. We do not suppress viewpoints we disagree with, and we do not defer to governments or corporations that pressure us to silence legitimate expression.
At the same time, we are unwavering in our commitment to protecting our community from genuine harm. Content that sexualizes children, incites real-world violence, facilitates human trafficking, or defrauds users is not "speech" that Parsafy protects — it is harm that Parsafy prevents. These are not competing values. A platform that tolerates genuine harm is not a free-speech platform; it is an unsafe one.
Our safety policies are designed to be narrow (targeting real harm, not uncomfortable ideas), transparent (explained clearly and applied consistently), fair (with notice, appeals, and correction when we are wrong), and community-driven (with users as active partners in keeping the platform safe).
Identity Verification
Every Parsafy account requires one-time identity verification. This protects our 18+ community without creating surveillance — verified accounts remain pseudonymous by default.
Transparent Algorithm
We document what content is recommended, what is deprioritized, and why. Users are never left wondering why their content or feed looks the way it does. No silent suppression.
Community Moderation
Our users are our most important safety partners. Community Notes, user reports, and feedback signals are central to how we identify and address harmful content at scale.
AI + Human Review
Automated detection operates 24/7 at scale. Human reviewers apply judgment, context, and fairness. Neither alone is sufficient — we use both, with humans making final decisions.
Due Process
When we take enforcement action, we tell you why. When you disagree, you can appeal. When we make mistakes, we correct them. Fairness is a feature, not an afterthought.
Human Rights First
We will not suppress documentation of government repression, political persecution, or state violence — including in authoritarian contexts — based on government pressure. Ever.

How We Work With Law Enforcement
Parsafy cooperates fully with valid legal process from law enforcement agencies in connection with criminal investigations involving activity on our platform. We respond to lawful subpoenas, court orders, search warrants, and emergency disclosure requests in accordance with applicable law.
At the same time, Parsafy is committed to protecting our users' privacy and will not voluntarily disclose user data to governments or law enforcement absent valid legal process — except in cases involving an imminent threat to human life. We scrutinize all government requests for legal sufficiency and user privacy implications before responding.
For law enforcement agencies seeking to submit legal process to Parsafy, or for users who want to understand how we respond to government requests, our full guidelines are available at Law Enforcement & the Parsafy Community.
